The minimum hours of training needed is 25 hours for CCM or 35 hours for LSA. Some students can go up to about 50 hours and sometimes even longer. Age does affect this time frame.
Training falls in two categories: Flight Training and Ground School
The exams are computer based, online and Limpopo Flight School has an accredited exam centre, for your convenience.
We also offer radio license courses.
Please note that you are required to pass a flight medical.
Training manuals are supplied by LFS, a hard copy or alternatively you can buy from some pilot shops.
To accommodate and help students, we have a pay as you fly system in place at LFS. It is not necessary for students to pay the full amount for training upfront.
